A number of Councillors are currently implementing a programme of works in their respective Divisions. The programmes are mainly road works in rural communities the residents of which are anxious both for the opportunity for employment as well as the benefits of the improved infrastructure. In some of the areas motorists and pedestrians alike had been clamouring for road repairs for quite some time.
